Let your colors RUN.

Join us for a morning of fun right before Cedar Valley Pridefest begins on Saturday, August 24 just a block from the entrance to Pridefest. Run, walk or crawl your way through this COLOR RUN 5k course. So, wear white and show everyone your color during this untimed 5k fun run/walk.

Race Route

The race will start off at the corner of West 4th Street and Cedar Street, directly across from the 4th Street Bridge. Participants will run across the 4th Street Bridge and then along the river trail for about 1.5 miles and then return along the same route.

FAQs.

Does the color chalk wash out?
The color mostly washes out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful. We suggest washing items you wore to The Color Run separately from your other laundry  

What color are the race shirts?
Race shirts are white so they'll show the full glory of the color run. But of course you can  wear any white t-shirt you're willing to get chalk on.

Can I bring my dog?
For the safety of our runners and animal friends, there are no animals allowed.  

Are there weather contingencies?
The color run will happen rain or shine. If there's dangerous weather (like lightning), the run may be postponed or canceled. ​
